Meeting for Worship With Attention to Business
First Month, Second Day
Vera Elleson, clerk: Ginger Kenney, recording clerk; Kristina Pearson, reader; 20 in attendance.
Treasurer Kent Luetke-StahIman reported income of $1,140, a checking account balance of $1,536.77, and that the proposed budget for 2000 would be presented for consideration at the next meeting with attention to business. From the Ministry & Oversight report, re recommendations concerning the "new" process. . . .New ideas and suggestions can be referred directly to committees which in turn can submit them to the Meeting at large if it seems appropriate. This is a part of the effort to encourage committee representatives to notify the clerk of time that they need time for presenting their reports, including new ideas that have been offered for consideration. People who want their ideas on the agenda can also contact members of Ministry & Oversight as well as the clerk. In other business. . . .heard a report from Brenda Funk concerning the Interfaith Peace Alliance and approved the membership request from Sheila Shinn. (She was touched and her heart gladdened by the enthusiastic and welcoming response.)
