MEETING FOR WORSHIP WITH ATTENTION TO BUSINESS, 2nd month, 5th day, 2006

The meeting opened with silence, a reading questions, and more silence.

The Ministry and Oversight report was heard. After discussion of our yearly retreat the report was accepted.

The treasurer’s report was heard, followed the budget report. After discussion of various charitable line items, including Westport Cooperative Services, Penn Valley Meeting chose to keep the budget as proposed for the time being. We will look at other local groups. Both reports were accepted.

The archivist committee met, and reported the state of the archives. The report was accepted.

The Meeting discussed the question of keeping copies of the newsletter. The publications committee will meet and resolve this, including the cost of binding the issues.

The Meeting discussed music — both as a program, and as recreation. The program committee will discuss the former, and the recreation committee the latter.

The meeting ended with silence.
