MEETING FOR WORSHIP WITH ATTENTION TO BUSINESS, Seventh month, first day, 2007
Marc Robinson, acting clerk and recording clerk
The meeting began with a
reading and silence.
There was no Ministry and
Counsel committee report.
There was no treasurer’s report
this month.
After the end of this week,
Shane may be able to help with
garage painting. There is still
scraping to be done. Thomas
can help some of the time. Jim
Kenney will solicit help by email.
Per Rachel’s inquiry about
whether to pay insurance on
the house as is, or with
adjustments required by Rich’s
research, Friends suggest she
contact Rich after paying the
billed amount. Adjustments
can be handled later.
Jim Kenney reports that AFSC
has agreed to pay the cost of
inspecting the wheelchair
elevator. The state has
inspected the device. The city
now wants us to pay them to
inspect it. Jim will attempt to
straighten this out with the
city; the same thing occurred
last year.
The librarian will follow up on
an earlier agreement to order
extra copies of an issue of the
Friends Journal.
The program committee report
was heard and accepted.
The FCNL committee report
was about ending the war.
FCNL is giving out posters and
other information. The report
was accepted.
Ginger reported on Citizens for
Justice in the Middle East. The
Hope Flowers School in
Bethlehem is asking for funds.
She can provide further
information to interested
Friends. She is asking Penn
Valley Meeting for a
contribution. The subject is
postponed to next month’s
Meeting for Worship with
Attention to Business.
Minta will be updating the
membership list. Friends will
be notified in the Friendly
Connection to send her
changes to their contact info.
The meeting ended with
silence.
