Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business, held on the tenth month, third day, with Kevin Chafin, clerk, and Cathy Gardner, recording clerk, had 11 members and attenders present.

Committee Reports:

Ministry and Oversight (Karin): The committee discussed the possibility of establishing a subcommittee on IYM and a process of doing business that balances joy and soberness. A recommendation was approved to pay increase the amount of liability insurance to cover Missouri Valley Conference and MVC will reimburse the difference. A recommendation was approved to reevaluate the seating arrangement for business meetings after using the circle style in October and November and using the auditorium style in December and January.

Education (Nancy): Karin M. will lead a program on Quaker Testimonies on Oct. 24. The committee discussed ways to enhance service to Meeting and each other with the abilities and gifts each person possesses.
