The clerk opened the meeting
with a reading and silence.
The Ministry and Oversight report
was heard and approved.
The treasurer’s report was heard
and accepted. We’re running
behind for the year, and Friends
are encouraged to contribute.
House upkeep reported that
Brenda Funk is taking a year off
from the committee. She has been
a tireless and selfless worker, and
we are deeply grateful to her.
The wall at the back of the
property is now rebuilt, the yard
has been regraded to keep water
out of the garage, and several
other projects are underway.
Volunteers are needed for yet
more projects. We commend all
those involved in the work.
Nominating committee reported
that they’ve met twice, and will
complete their work by next
MFWWAB. They asked approval
for their membership, and it was
given.
Program committee reported two
dates lacking programs. These
were resolved.
Publications committee reported
that the list of members and
attendees is out of date. After
considerable discussion about
whom and when to send the
newsletter to, and in what form,
the discussion was inconclusive
and will be taken up by the
committee itself.
Jim Kenney asked that the
meeting approve the use of
Sufferings for occasional
contributions to the Clergy and
Church Against Racial Violence
group. The meeting approved his
request.
