MEETING FOR WORSHIP WITH ATTENTION TO BUSINESS,Twelfth month, third day, 2006

The meeting opened with a reading and silence.

The Ministry and Oversight committee report was heard. The committee discussed Penn Valley committees, and recommended that its own name be changed to Ministry and Counsel.

They also recommended that House Upkeep spin off outside work to a separate Yard and Garden committee; Penn Valley Meeting asks these committees to coordinate more closely with AFSC.

There should be a new ad-hoc committee on the environment. The social committee should be recognized as a formal committee. All these suggestions were approved, and the report was accepted.

The treasurer’s report was heard. Penn Valley Meeting will put $1000 in property reserves. The report was accepted.

The library committee report covered books and pamphlets to buy for the library. The report, and the purchases, were approved.

The nominating committee report was heard. The committee’s work is nearly complete. The report, and committee assignments to date, were accepted.
