Missouri Valley Friends Conference - October, 2000 Missouri Valley Friends Conference met the first weekend
in October with 40 Friends registered. Among them were
Kent, Barb, Breeze, Hannah, Mary Pat and Marcie Luetke-
Stahiman; Rachel and Matthew MacNair; Terry Matz; Chloe
Wagner; Jim and Ginger Kenney; John and Reva Griffith;
Genia Simmons; Cathy Gardner; and Sue Rempel Thompson
of Penn Valley Meeting. The weatherwas spectacular. Linda
Chidsey of NY Yearly Meeting helped with the theme of the
conference ("Prayer, Meditation and the Inward Journey") as
resource person. In addition, there were hikes, good food,
interest groups and the usual Saturday night talent show and
bonfire. All in all, a fine combination of nourishment for the
