2007 Committees

Penn Valley committees for 2007 have formed, and a couple of changes have been made to the lineup. The Ministry and Oversight Committee is now the Ministry and Counsel Committee, a name change the follows a practice made by Iowa Yearly Meeting and one that better reflects the role of the committee. The Social Committee, which had been an ad hoc committee in 2006, is now a fully sanctioned committee and takes on an additional member. A new ad hoc committee has been established to address environmental concerns for the Meeting. Another change is the division of the House Upkeep Committee into a maintenance and upkeep committee and a separate group charged with yard and garden work. Still unfilled is the Discipline Revision Committee. If anyone has an interest in working with Iowa Yearly Meeting on this Faith and Practice project, contact Marc.
